Krishnanjali began in 1993 with a single classroom in Kunnamkulam and an unwavering commitment to the Kalakshetra tradition.
Founded by Smt. Preethy Sajeevan, the academy has grown into an institution shaping generations of Bharathanatyam dancers across five branches in Thrissur district. Every adavu, every mudra, every padam carries the discipline of the Kalakshetra lineage — preserved with care, taught with reverence.
Today, Krishnanjali stands as both a school and a sanctuary — a place where children take their first steps in dance, where seasoned practitioners refine their art, and where the traditions of Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, Kerala Nadanam, and the semi-classical forms find a home.
